Jabez Prayer Group meets at 7:30 pm every

the
new
Roman
Missal
on
the
weekend
of
November
27.
As
we
prepare
for
the
full
implementation
of
the
new
Missal,
you
will
notice
that
there
are
many
changes
in
the
words
that
the
priest‐celebrant
uses
at
Mass.
There
are
also
a
few
changes
to
the
words
that
the
congregation
will
use
when
they
respond.
Beginning
next
weekend,
September
24
and
25,
parishes
across
the
Archdiocese
of
Toronto
will
begin
to
use
some
sung
elements
of
the
new
translation
(Lord
have
Mercy,
Glory
to
God,
Holy
Holy,
Lamb
of
God
etc.)
Life Chain is a prayerful, peaceful, powerful
witness to the sanctity of human life from the
moment of conception.
Please join us on Sunday, October 2, 2011
from 2 pm to 3 pm as we stand together on
Main Street from Gage Park to Shoppers
World for the most vulnerable members of our
society. You are also invited to begin the
afternoon with an outdoor Prayer Vigil at
St. Mary’s Church (across from Gage Park)
preceding Life Chain at 1:30 pm.
It
will
take
some
time
to
get
used
to
these
changes
–
please
take
advantage
of
the
resources
in
this
bulletin
to
learn
about
the
changes
over
the
next
few
months.
There
will
also
be
a
two‐part
parish
presentation
on
October
16
and
30
from
7
p.m.
to
8:30
p.m.
which
will
help
us
to
explore
the
new
translation
and
our
understanding
of
the
Mass.

we
will

make

of
this
opportunity

learn
more
about
the
Mass,
to
deepen
our
relationship
with
Christ,

the Needs of the Church in Canada. Funds will
be used by the Canadian Conference of Catholic
Bishops to represent Canadian Catholics in
national and international pastoral activity,
including social justice, ecumenical and
interfaith
relations,
collaboration
with
Aboriginal Peoples, life and family issues,
liturgy, catechesis, doctrine and relations with
Catholic associations and movements. The

MARRIAGE PREPARATION CLASSES
St. John Fisher Church located at 300 Balmoral
Drive, Brampton, are having Marriage Preparation
Classes on Wednesday, November 2, 9, 16 and

LAY PASTORAL VISITORS TRAINING
The office of Formation for Discipleship
will be offering the Lay Pastoral
Visitors Training in the Fall 2011. This
training is designed to prepare lay persons
to become Lay Pastoral Visitors in the
ministry to the sick and shut-ins of our
parish communities. This training will be
held at Holy Family Parish, Bolton on
Saturdays, Sept. 24, Oct.1, 15, 2011 ‒
9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Registration fee is
