Monday, March 21, 2011
Key Speaker: Sister Maria Kateri SV,
The Knights of Columbus #14749 have planned a
Mass for Life in the Church and are assisted by the
Catholic Women’s League and the Legion of Mary.
There will be a special blessing for expectant mothers
during Mass.
A reception and baby shower for Birthright to follow
after the Mass in the Stephenson room.
For the baby shower we would appreciate
unwrapped newborn size baby gifts that would be
given to the new mom just after she has her baby.
Birthright puts the items into baskets sorted according
to the size and sex of the new baby. Sometimes these
are the only new things the baby receives. Needed
items are diapers (preemie and newborn size only),
baby towels and blankets, diaper creams, undershirts,
sleepers, socks, outfits, sweaters, wash cloths, baby
wipes, small baby toys, and little things that you would
appreciate as a new parent. Please no powders,
formula or large diapers.
Please remember you can buy items at the Over 55
Bazaar the day before here at St. Anne’s.

SHARELIFE SUNDAY
“The guiding principles for our rich tradition
of Catholic stewardship emphasize the
importance of sharing time, talent and treasure
with those around us. Ultimately, our lives are
defined by how we’ve used the gifts we’ve received. We
need to be active and engaged in our society, sharing the
blessings we have, as best we can. That involvement can
take many forms, one of which is charity. In our region, we
have the chance to exercise Catholic charity in a truly
meaningful way through ShareLife, our annual charitable
appeal. Please consider supporting ShareLife, the annual
fundraising appeal of our Archdiocese, during this Lenten
season.”
Bricks will be on sale in the lobby after all Masses this
