JOB SUMMARY: Manage all operations of the El Paso Community College Vehicle Registration
Section within the Police Department.

Manage and coordinate the administration of the Vehicle Registration Section.
Evaluate effectiveness of parking services to include customer service, making recommendations for changes as appropriate to policies, procedures and compliance activities. Interact with faculty, staff, students and college guests responding to inquiries and complaints regarding parking services policies, procedures and facilities.

Maintain efficient and effective operations of a multi-campus department and oversee the issuance of parking permits to faculty, staff and students; track citations and process petitions and appeals to Traffic Court.
3.
Manage daily operations of Vehicle Registration Section including selecting, scheduling, training and supervising Parking Enforcement staff /office staff to include personal/professional development, coaching, and performance management. Participate in the development of department goals and plans, manage and oversee fiscal management of section budget to recommend and approve expenditures.
4.
Implement processes for continuous improvement and application of new technologies to enhance process performance. Liaison between I.T. and Police
Department in regards to automated decal issuance and payment systems.
5.
Compile data, maintain appropriate records/logs and develop and submit required reports as needed. Responsible for preparing brochures, maps and information material for public dissemination.
6.
Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration or Management.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of related experience.

Software Used: A variety of spreadsheet, word-processing, database, e-mail, vehicle registration software system and presentation software.
