JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for management, development, implementation, and monitoring
activities of the District’s Student Activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop, plans, implements, and manages social, cultural, and student
organizational activities. Coordinates, develops, and publishes student
activity calendar. Serves as a student liaison, as needed, with District
Departments and community services/organizations.

2. Manage District’s Identification Card system for students, faculty, and staff,
to include issuing of cards and maintenance of supplies and equipment.

3. Design and create banners and flyers promoting activities within the
District.

4. Coordinates a variety of fiscally related tasks to include monitoring of
expenditures, verifies charges and resolves issues; purchasing of
necessary equipment and supplies; and equipment repair and service.

2. Equipment Used: Personal Computer, Identification System, and other

e-mail, and presentation software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Duties require little physical effort in work with moderately heavy (10lbs. To 50lbs),
easy to handle materials. Duties performed causes light fatigue of eyes, fingers,
or other faculties due to long periods of standing, sitting, and/or repetitive motion.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Alternative or combined skills in understanding, counseling, and/or influencing people are
important in achieving job objectives, causing action, understanding others, or changing
behavior; and, skills of persuasiveness or assertiveness, as well as sensitivity to the point
of view of others.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with many and frequent
distractions such as noise, interruptions, or congested work areas with exposure to some
disagreeable elements.
