Dear Resident,
The preliminary planning reports will be reviewed over the
next few months for the Glassy Creek Stream Restoration
Project. As the project progresses, property owners may see
representatives from the City of Charlotte and Wildlands
Engineering near the open channel areas. The next step
for the project will be to determine a preferred design
alternative and proposed alignment for the open channel.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services will complete
the construction plans for the preferred design alternative.
Permitting, bid and construction will follow the planning and
design phases for this project.
some property owners may still need to be contacted by the
City of Charlotte’s representatives in regard to easement
acquisition for their property.
