UNDER CONSTRUCTION glassy Creek STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Dear Resident: August 2014 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is working with On-Site Development LLC and Wildlands Engineering, Inc. to construct the Glassy Creek Stream Restoration Project. Wildlands Engineering is handling the engineering and inspection for this project. Construction is on schedule and expected to be complete by the end of this year. The construction consists of three open channel areas. • The channel reconstruction near Clanton Park is complete and landscaping will be installed in October. • The channel reconstruction near Marie G. Davis Middle School is expected to be complete in September and landscaping will be installed in October. On-Site Development has their construction crews working on the open channel area near Revolution Park. The monitoring by State and Federal Agencies for the success of this project will take five years. The City would like to thank all residents for their patience and cooperation.
