STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Dear Resident:
August 2014
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is working with On-Site
Development LLC and Wildlands Engineering, Inc. to construct the Glassy
Creek Stream Restoration Project. Wildlands Engineering is handling the
engineering and inspection for this project. Construction is on schedule
and expected to be complete by the end of this year. The construction
consists of three open channel areas.
• The channel reconstruction near Clanton Park is complete and
landscaping will be installed in October.
• The channel reconstruction near Marie G. Davis Middle School is
expected to be complete in September and landscaping will be
installed in October. On-Site Development has their construction
crews working on the open channel area near Revolution Park.
The monitoring by State and Federal Agencies for the success of this
project will take five years.
The City would like to thank all residents for their patience and cooperation.
