storm drainage improvement project
YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK
Dear Resident:
Charlotte Mecklenburg Storm Water
Services and its consultant engineer,
USInfrastructure, are designing drainage
improvements along Raleigh Street and
Greensboro Street west of Sugar Creek
Road. These improvements are being
designed in coordination with Charlotte
Area Transit Systems (CATS) Blue Line
Extension Project.
Representatives from the Project Team may need to enter
your property to collect survey data on the existing drainage
system. While State law authorizes access to private
property for this purpose, no buildings or structures will be
entered or disturbed.
USInfrastructure has contracted with Joel
E. Wood & Associates to drill approximately
5 borings and collect soil and ground water
samples. The proposed boring locations
are along Raleigh Street and Greensboro
Street.
