STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Eastburn Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The large structure at
Park South Drive next to the Marriott has been completed and the area
has been backfilled.
Work continues on Park South Executive Drive at the parking deck. The
shoring contractor has had some equipment failure, but is planning
weekend work to catch up. As soon as shoring is in place, Blythe
Construction will begin installing pipe again.
Milling of asphalt at the parking deck is scheduled to start soon, weather
permitting. Work on the berm at the other end of the parking lot has
begun.
After completion of work at Park South Executive Drive, work continues
upstream at Eastburn, Sunnybrook and Fairheath.
