STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Eastburn Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Work is 95% complete
on Sunnybrook with trimming trees and seeding issues remaining. The
work is expected to be complete in the next few weeks.
The infrastructure on Park South Drive and Archdale is in place and driveways and sidewalks have been replaced. We expect to pour final asphalt
on Park South by the end of October.
There have been some holdups on South Executive Drive at the parking
deck. Rock is constant and there are some shoring issues to be worked
out, but we are about to finish the last run of 72” pipe. The existing pipe
is being lined now and should be done by October 5.
City staff continues to monitor all locations of the site and fix problems
as they arise. Please feel free to contact site inspector with any questions
you may have.
