UNDER CONSTRUCTION E a s t b u r n STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Dear Resident: May 2013 Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’ Eastburn Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Work at Piedmont Row Drive South is almost complete and preparation for work at the Eastburn Culvert is underway. Eastburn Road near the Fairmeadows swim club will be closed May 6 to allow for the construction of a new box culvert. The road will reopen on June 7. During this street closure, local access to homes will be available but vehicular and pedestrian access across the culvert area from one side to another will be unavailable. Detour signs will be in place. Please plan on taking other neighborhood streets for alternate access. After completion of the work at Eastburn work will continue upstream at Sunnybrook, Fairheath, and then Hazelton. Work at Stokes and Anchor are currently in progress. The City would like to thank all residents for their patience and cooperation.
