Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and
engineering consultant, Camp Dresser & McKee (CDM),
are finalizing the real estate phase of the Eastburn
Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The project area
is bounded by Sharon Road, Park Road, Fairview Drive,
and Stokes Avenue.
The project is making final real estate acquisitions
and reviewing/editing final construction plans and
documentation. The bid phase will follow, lasting
approximately four to five months. During this
phase, competitive bids are taken from responsible
contractors to perform the construction work. After
City Council approval, the City awards the construction
contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Construction
will begin following the completion of the bid phase.
