For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, April 14, 2006 Cameron University’s Theatre Arts department completes season with ‘The Imaginary Invalid’ Cameron University’s Department of Theatre Arts will finish its 2005-2006 season: CU in Good Health by presenting the classic farce, The Imaginary Invalid. The Imaginary Invalid is Moliere’s last play. It is a sparkling satire on the medical profession that examines issues of hypochondria. Ironically, the play was written in the final days of the playwright’s life. The play will be presented Thursday, April 20, through Sunday, April 23, and than again Friday, April 28, through Sunday, April 30, in the Studio Theatre. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Ticket prices for the play are $10 for adults and $8 for military, seniors, and other students.
