Deputy Director of Community Corrections
to be guest speaker at Cameron University
Justin Jones, Deputy Director of the Division of Community Corrections (for adults) in Oklahoma, will speak
at Cameron University at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Shepler Mezzanine on CU’s main campus in
Lawton.
The Cameron University Criminal Justice Association will sponsor the event, which is free and open to all
Cameron University students, faculty and staff.
Jones will speak for about an hour on probation and parole issues in Oklahoma. As Deputy Director of
Community Corrections, Jones is responsible for all aspects of adult felony offender supervision in the
state.
“Mr. Jones has a great deal of experience and wisdom to share with our students,” said Elaine Barber,
public relations officer for the Criminal Justice Association. “His speech will provide a great deal of insight
for those wishing to pursue a career in the corrections field.”
