 New Year, New Idea
o Ryan
 4 pillars, why do we have them – it’s what we stand for
 service – rotary lights, hour requirements, volunteering,
giving, community service coordinator, service
committee
 recognition – OTMs, shout outs (meeting and facebook),
out of the blue, pass the pillar, mission recognition,
residence life rec, campus rec, OTM coordinator, OTM
committee, OTM voting committee
 scholastics – study day, gpa goals, academics
committee, question activity, GPA requirement
 leadership – funding for programs
 not a whole lot of activity
 transforming committees into 4 teams to represent four pillars
 chapter thoughts:
 would we re-choose teams? – yes
 would committee chairs lose their position? – something
to discuss
 would leadership start from scratch? – yes
 how many people would be in each category? - ~9, by
interest first
 leadership is reflected in other pillars, seems that
leadership would just be event planning
 the pillars are who we are, it will represent that
 don’t have to be constrained with doing the same things
 see potential for growth
 could be a benefit of interacting with more chapter
members
 idea – rotating through the four teams at quarter to get
exposure to all of them
idea – spring leadership conference
leadership could be the “PR” for NRHH
 so people can see who we are and what we do
 will help reanalyze what we say we are and what we do
voting on whether or not we will transition to new format
 30-5-0 voted in favor.

NRHH is cloudy, not very well to be seen.
You want to see the big picture.
You need direction, you want investment.
Don’t let your cat die (or baby?)
With this new direction of the NRHH teams, we need to take
more time to develop out teams.
Bottom line, we don’t have a lot of investment in meeting after
NRHH Chapter gatherings.
Meeting at a separate time will allow us to have separate
Question-general rule of thumb that every team meets outside
of the gatherings?
 Yes.
Question- bi weekly or weekly? And how long are these
meetings suppose to be?
 That is up to the teams to decide.
Question- are you expecting 9-15 people to meet?
Question- are you saying can you meet on Wednesday at
9pm?
Comments- 100% to do it. We joined this chapter to do
something and put in time and we can put in the extra time to
meet another time.
31-4-1 approved to meet separately from this meeting.
