We didn’t want to assume we could get donations from the residence halls and just take them. Have you reached out to other UW schools to start this initiative? Yes, it is in the works. o Discussions I love the recognition built into this. Concerned due to the political backstory behind the UW budget proposal and don’t know what could happen if we sponsor them. Does SA have funds they can use? Yes Concerned for buying things from Michaels. Could they find a cheaper place to buy them from? $70 is a lot of money to spend for envelopes. If we put our money into the, I feel like we are supporting their views. Liked how any supplies that are left over will come back to us. Just seems like if they have money to use, they just want us to What could the ramifications be if we supported them and it would backfire? I don’t think there are huge ones but I don’t it Could we give them the money if we support the recognition and say we don’t take a side? I think as individuals we have the right to support it or not but as an organization we cannot make that call.
