Chapter Meeting Minutes 4/8/15
Call to Order
 Gathering called at 9:01
 Activity - Cara Mackesey, Hannah Phillips, Austin Baar, Spenser Garcia
 Emily P. is absent
Guest Speakers/Fund Requests
 Hutch Hall: Hutchapalooza-ceiling of $80.00
o May 1st 8pm-11pm in Hutch/Angell Pit
o Bonfire with a free concert at 8:30pm.
o There will be smores, drinks and fun!
o The program will cost $365 with $80 coming from NRHH.
o Questions
 Would you deicate a song to NRHH?
 Sure
 What kind of music is it?
 90s, Maroon 5, Mumford and Sons, and Orginals.
 What will you being wearing that night and would you wear an
OTM shirt?
 Possibly!
 Would you at least write an OTM?
 Yes!
 Why does the sound system cost $210?
 It covers the cost of professional sound system people
and lights since it will be dark.
o Discussion
 I think it’s a cool idea.
o Fund request approved with 2 absentions noted
 Counseling and Testing: Spread the Love-ceiling of $125.00
o To raise awareness about mental health.
o With sit at the clock tower with food that you can spread things on
along with information from CTC about mental health.
o Friday April 24th from 7:30-Noon
 Hopefully with have a counsler from CTC to show how friendly
they are!
o Any extra food will go back to the food pantry.
o Program will cost a total of $350 with $125 from NRHH.

 If there was one goal that you could pick to definitley
accomplish, what would it be?
 Form connections within chapter to strengthen
the chapter
 How will you balance members and execs?
 I would base that on needs and see what is going
on at the time and adapt it as it goes
 How will you work with the new exec team?
 As it is a new year, it is a new team and I would
do my best not to compare teams.
 What is one strength of yours and how would you use
it?
 Developer. I enjoy developing relationships and
watching that grow into strong relationships.
 Would you use parliamentary procedure?
 I would pay attention to the needs of the member
and see how formal we want it to be.
 How would you avoid a disconnect between members
and execs?
 I would not let the execs make decisions without
the input of the members as our decisions affect
everyone.
 Can you describe your leadership style in an ice cream
flavor?
 Mint, because I’m fresh.

 If you could pick one goal to accomplish, what would it
be?
 To make the chapter more open and get more
diversity in the chapter.
 How would you balance the execs, members, and you?
 I would listen to everyone and put the members
first.
 What is a strength of yours and how would you use it?
 Communication. I am good at talking with people
and listening to their opinions and acting on
them.
 Would you use parliamentary procedure?
 I would gauge the chapter and see how we want
to run our meetings.
 How would you compare your WURHA directorship with
an NRHH exec team?
 I would do my best not compare. I would like the
NRHH team a little more because I would be able
to see my team more frequently.
 How would you handle disconnect between execs and
members?
 I like that our execs currently integrate with the
chapter at meetings. I view the execs as
members with extra roles and that’s how I would
view my position.
 Can you describe your leadership style in one ice cream
flavor?
 Half-baked ice cream. With every bite, you get
something different.
