 Planned Power Outages
• Two upcoming power outages on October 10th-12th that will
affect north and south campus residence halls due to
connecting main electric to the McKinley Building.
• These power outages will affect main electricity in the
residence halls to include lighting, electrical outlets, and air
conditioning. Students should unplug computers and any
sensitive equipment before the outage.
• Emergency lighting, card access, fire safety systems, and at
least one elevator will still be functioning using generators.

If I write an OTM about Anderson and am from McDowell, who gets
the points?
• You wrote it, you get the points
 Are athletics posters advocacy posters?
• They are programming posters
 If a resident comes to an event in a shirt, does it count toward the
ten event pictures?
• You can count it as a hall swag picture
 Do late arrivals count for attendance?
• As long as they sign the attendance sheet
 What does the hall get if it wins HOTY?
• Bragging rights and glory
• Some kind of food prize for the whole hall, usually
• Trophy for the hall
• Hall name on a plaque in the office

• NRHH OTM committee selects the campus winner
• Depends on how many people apply each month for the

• Poorly written OTMs will not be sent to the region, even if they
are the only one entered in a category
