WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the
will of the Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Mr. Stepanek is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director
of Public Relations as laid out by the Northern Iowa Student Government
Constitution and By-Laws; and
RECOGNIZING: The Mr. Stepanek has the necessary qualifications, work ethic and vision to
progress this position;
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Mr. Stepanek has important experience with the
Sigma Phi Epsilon as the President and his connections with a variety of student organizations
across campus; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Alex Stepanek is appointed to the position of
Director of Public Relations under the Evans Beard Administration starting October 29th.
