• Many struggled in the school system and left with almost no
formal qualifications – they left to get a job as early as
possible
The Training Process
• Initial training is focused on Health and Safety
• Then Level 2 is our minimum requirement –
often their first taste ofNational Certificates
– We present certificates at Monthly BBQ for each
unit passed ( cheer them all on – recognise
success on the journey – not just at the end)
• This is a taste – then they are encouraged to
move on….
– Level 3, 4 or more….
– Apprenticeships etc

• We expect staff to participate and therefore
support them through their training
• Peer Group Pressure – everybody else is in
training
• A Trainer/Assessor is provided

awards 3 times for “Training Company of the Year – Wood
Manufacturing”

through Training” award in 2013
• Northpine was a finalist in the Northland Business awards
“Excellence in Business - Large Business” 2012, 2013, 2014
• Northpine won the “Workplace Safety” award and the “Judges
Commendation” award in 2013

• Mikal specializes in upgrading mental "Operating
Systems" so you can effectively run the "programs" you
and your staff want and need to.

thus creates more inner stillness, a sense of inner peace and
a very strong sense of purpose and fulfilment.

• FISH! Is a parable based on the world famous Pike Place fish
market, a very successful fishmonger. The aim is to assist you
