Starting a New Paper
You can quickly create a new PERRLA paper with just a single click of the mouse. Regardless of whether
you want to create an APA paper or an MLA paper, the starting point is the same.
After installation, the Launch PERRLA icon will be on your desktop. Just double-click this yellow PERRLA
pencil to get started.
From the Welcome tab, we can create a new APA 6th edition paper, create a new APA 5th edition paper,
or create a new MLA paper.
After clicking the button that corresponds to the type of paper you wish to create, PERRLA will prompt
you for the title of your paper and other information needed to get your started.
