Maybe it wouldn’t be receding so fast if they’d named it Enter Glacier instead of Exit Glacier. During his visit to Anchorage yesterday, President Obama stopped by a café and bought all of their cinnamon rolls to feed his entourage. Meanwhile, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie bought all the cinnamon rolls at a café to feed himself. The American Academy of Pediatrics now says you should talk to your kids about booze before they're 10. Thankfully, my parents talked to me about alcohol at 10. It included flying little people dressed as ice cream cones, fake lines of cocaine and bobbing for penis toys in a vat of milk. There was also a cake with a Miley figurine on top puking in a toilet, and she was seen smoking blunts and twerking on stage with her dancers. In fact, Taylor had McKellan evicted from a New York apartment! McKellan was staying in director Peter Jackson's apartment when Taylor bought it and had him removed. Actually, McKellan has no hard feelings and says Taylor had every right to give him the boot. A fight reportedly broke out during filming between co-stars PORSHA WILLIAMS and CYNTHIA BAILEY. It started with verbal fisticuffs and quickly escalated until Cynthia kicked Porsha in the stomach while wearing high heels. While neither woman plans to press charges, Cynthia could be demoted or fired from the show. This isn't Williams' first on-air brawl as you may recall she was charged with battery last year after getting into a fight with Kenya Moore while taping the reunion special. Former WWF superstar JIMMY SNUKA found himself in a steel cage yesterday and it wasn’t for a death match. Snuka was arrested in connection with the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino. During the original investigation, Snuka told investigators that she injured her head while the two were fooling around outside of their motel room in Allentown, Pennsylvania when he pushed her and she fell. However, in his 2012 autobiography, "Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story," he wrote that Nancy slipped and fell while going to the bathroom at a rest stop. Police reopened the case and have now determined there’s enough evidence to prove Snuka was responsible. Snuka is free after posting bail. It was just announced this week that comedian JON RUDNITSKY would become a Not Ready For Prime Time Player. Not much was known about him, but what’s now being learned isn’t all the good. A check of his Twitter feed found some nasty jokes about stars like Miley Cyrus and Beyonce and demeaning language to describe women. They also found several of Rudnitsky Vine videos that show him mocking Mexicans and a topless woman. IDRIS ELBA has been mentioned to take over the role of James Bond when Daniel Craig leaves the series. However, one person not on board with that is British author Anthony Horowitz, who wrote the latest 007 book, Trigger Mortis. Horowitz said in an interview that he felt Elba was too "street" to play Bond. That created a big fuss online, forcing Horowitz to clarify his remarks. He said it was nothing racial, and he only meant that Elba was known for his grittier roles. Ashton later tweeted, "I'm trying to figure out why mila is making me take this picture @ashleyiaco who are you? And who is this guy?" Ashton also included the picture in his post. Just 5 million viewers tuned in to see it live on MTV. That’s down more than 3-million from last year’s 8.3 million viewers. However, the show aired on several other channels, and that brought viewership up to nearly 10 million. DONALD TRUMP is returning to NBC! Donald will appear on the “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon on September 11th. No word on if he’ll ‘slow jam’ the news. The entire celebrity cast of DANCING WITH THE STARS and their professional partners will be officially announced on Good Morning America this morning. However, last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, GARY BUSEY came out on horseback and it was revealed that he would be one of the contestants. It won’t be Busey's first time on reality TV as he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice twice, and won season 14 of Celebrity Big Brother. It was to have taken place 18 years after the original series as Nelson’s character comes out of retirement to assist his son as a college football coach. September is usually an ugly month for stocks and it’s shaping up that way again this year as the month started with the Dow plunging 470 points. The latest drop has the Dow back into correction territory as it’s down more than 10% from its May peak. Hackers using new malware called Key Raider have managed to steal the logins for more than 225,000 Apple accounts. It’s the largest known hack of this type to date, but there is some good news as it only affects jail-broken phones. Those are iPhones that owners have tampered with so that they can run apps that Apple hasn't OK'd and unlock various settings. For those people, the Key Raider can also lock their phones, forcing the owners to pay a ransom to hackers to unlock them. There’s good news if you want an Egg McMuffin for dinner! McDonald's says they’ll begin serving breakfast all-day starting October 6th. McDonald’s had been testing it in a few cities for several months and by popular demand it’s going nationwide. They’ve proposed combining the Whopper and their Bacon Slamburger. Some smaller burger chains like Wayback Burgers, Krystal and Giraffas are also in. The resulting burger would be sold at a pop-up restaurant Burger King is building in Atlanta for Peace Day. However, Burger King is still hoping McDonald's will come around and told them to take their time…“We're totally at peace with that." According to a new study, daily marijuana use among college students is at its highest rate in 35 years. In fact, last year, for the first time ever, pot smoking surpassed cigarette smoking. The study also found ecstasy and cocaine use are rising, but alcohol consumption is declining. Figures show that 5.9 percent of college students smoke marijuana at least 20 times each month, which works out to one-in-17 students. One of the reasons pot use is up and alcohol is down is that booze is perceived to be the more harmful of the two. An Italian study found that young adults that are heavy coffee drinkers had four times the risk of having heart attacks and cardiovascular disease. They also found that moderate drinkers tripled their risk. They did say that their findings only applied to young people who already have high blood pressure. For the study, they classified moderate coffee drinkers as those that had 1-3 cups daily and heavy drinkers were those who drank 4 or more cups. If you intend to talk to your children about the dangers of alcohol, don’t wait too long. The American Academy of Pediatrics says you should talk to your kids about booze before they're 10 years old. They note that studies indicate children start to think positively about alcohol between ages 9 and 13 and that 21 percent admitted to having had more than a sip of alcohol before the age of 13. If you think your teenagers don’t listen to you, they also say 80 percent of teens said their parents are the biggest influence on their decision whether to drink. However, it’s not much better for women as their heart age is five years older. The CDC says 75% of Americans have a "heart age" older than their real age and that 75% of heart disease and strokes could be prevented through lifestyle changes. That includes the usual things like cutting out smoking and sugar and getting more exercise. Jason Frost and Brandon Key brought new meaning to the term ‘catfishing’ while on Alabama’s Warrior River. They heard a splash and saw something swimming toward them from shore and as it got closer they could finally tell it was a small kitten. After pulling it into their boat, a second kitten jumped into the water and swam toward them and they picked that one up as well. Herrera and Rios will likely be out for a couple weeks. The Baltimore Orioles honored Cal Ripken, Jr. last night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his setting the iron man record of playing in 2,131 straight games. The actual anniversary is this Sunday and Ripken eventually extended the record to 2,632 games before benching himself for the final home game of the 1998 season. Despite police in suburban Buffalo, New York, investigating a sexual assault accusation against Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane, at least five other NHL teams have inquired about making a trade for him. Kane is entering the first year of a record eight-year, $84-million contract. It was Kyrgios' first match since he was threatened with a 28-day suspension and $25,000 fine after trash-talking Stan Wawrinka last month in Montreal. U.S. Marine Jarrod Haschert recently made a video asking Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball in December. Haschert gave it a shot even though Rousey was planning to fight Holly Holm in January and he figured she’d be too busy to attend. The good news is the fight was rescheduled to November, word got back to Ronda, and she accepted. Apparently Wal-Mart employee Markeisha Lashay Burwell was unaware of the store’s surveillance cameras as the video showed her taking the phone. Markeisha told officers she wasn’t sure if she had the phone, but if she did, it would be in her car. That’s where officers found the phone, although Rosi’s photos and contacts were deleted. Markeisha admitted to deleting the photos and contacts and hiding it in her car with the intention of keeping it. Her bail was set at $2,000, which is much more expensive than a typical phone. Clinton Joyce was thwarted by a 12-year-old girl when he tried to break into an Auburn, Massachusetts, home. The girl was home alone and while she didn’t overpower Clinton, she didn’t have to. The girl simply snapped a cell phone picture of him and called 911 while hiding in her closet. The girl was able to give the dispatcher an accurate description of Clinton, who was quickly captured nearby. Police charged Joyce with two counts of attempted breaking and entering and have photographic evidence, thanks to the girl. Bitman By David Evjen Bitman1@aol.com Wednesday, September 2, 2015 DUH… If United Airlines has the friendly skies, then China United Airlines would apparently have the unfriendly skies. It’s now reported that two China United Airlines pilots got into a fistfight in the cockpit earlier this year. Details are scarce, but it’s assumed that it happened while the plane was in flight. Chinese aviation authorities have also hit the airline, but with a 10% reduction in flying hours and a ban on adding new routes. The two pilots have also been grounded for six months. After police in Australia pulled a man over on a traffic stop, they discovered what appeared to be crystal meth in his vehicle. The unnamed man spent four months in jail before investigators discovered the substance was Epsom salt and he was released. Orange County, California’s 51-year-old Sara Beebe climbed up a 50-foot slope behind her home to rescue her adopted black cat. As it turned out, Sara was the one that had to be rescued. After the cat climbed down on its own, Sara tried to follow, but she slid partway down the slope, injuring her ankle and scraping her arms and legs. Stuck in the middle of the cliff, Sara began yelling until a neighbor heard her and called for help. Sara was eventually plucked from the slope by a rescue helicopter. After Corwin asked the couple to leave his apartment, they told him they’d rented the place on Airbnb. Corwin thought that was odd because he’d never listed his condo on the website. Corwin may not have listed it, but his roommate apparently did. Corwin has also asked him to leave and is asking for compensation from Airbnb. You may want to invite China’s Mrs. Qiao, to your next card game. That’s because Mrs. Qiao doesn’t exactly have what you would call a poker face. While playing cards on a train with her husband, Mrs. Qiao screamed in excitement after she was dealt a good hand. In fact, she screamed and laughed so hard that she dislocated her jaw. The staff agreed to speed up the train to get to the next station more quickly where medical personnel were waiting to treat her.
