Ask me what sound it makes! -We reviewed our sight words and also learned “to” and “are” -We learned how to write the letters H, K L and U. -We played Sight Word Toss to review our sight words Math: - We learned about the number 10 and used our ten frames to play a game. -We counted to 10 forwards and backwards. -We practiced our counting and patterning with Math Folder Games Social Studies: -We has a woman come in to share her Native American collection with us. Ask me what she shared with us! -We learned about the first Thanksgiving with the Native Americans and Pilgrims. -We learned about the story behind Dreamcatchers and we made our own to catch the bad dreams! -We also made indian head-dresses and pilgrim hats for our feast! Friendly Reminders: *PARENTS – IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR THANKSGIVING FEAST. It is on Tuesday Nov. 26th from 11:45 to 12:30. You may meet us in the classroom as I may need assistance carrying items to the cafeteria. Or you can meet us in the cafeteria if it’s too crowded.
