POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: Marketing Assistant ACCOUNTABILITY: Director of Marketing and Public Education BASIC PURPOSE: Assist the Director of Marketing and Public Education with projects and events as needed. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with marketing efforts for the purpose of educating the health care community to include events, fundraising and other marketing activities. 2. Represent and promote Mountain Hospice in the community. 3. Assist with distribution of brochures and other marketing materials. 4. Perform other duties as assigned. 5. Complies with HIPAA regulations for protected personal health information. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred though not required. 2. Previous marketing experience/training or current enrollment in marketing degree program is preferred. 3. Experience working with local communities. 4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
