LATIN QUIZZES
All Latin quizzes will occur on Monday (“A”
day).
Each weekly agenda will contain the Latin
roots or words for the following week.
During the week before the quiz, each
student must for Latin roots:
1. Memorize the definition of the root.
2. Use a resource to find a compound
word using the root in the correct
context.
3. Define the word the student has found.
All three of these points must be completed
on the quiz in order to be correct for 1-point
credit.
Example:
Root =
bio - life
Sample word = biology
Definition =
the study of life
Some Latin quizzes will be over the
compound words only. On these quizzes,
you need only define the term.
