Collection Care for Beginners
Description: Participants in this workshop will learn about ways to provide basic collections care
on a small budget and without professional training. Discussion topics will include necessary
paperwork, procedures for processing new artifacts and for tracking and updating records for
existing collections, and how to provide a more stable environment for collection and exhibition
spaces. Also included in this session is an introduction to the collections component of the
software system PastPerfect.
