You have three tasks to complete over the summer to get you ready for the start of the course in September:
Task 1:
Buy two folders (one for each teacher) and lots of plastic wallets. The folders must be brought to every Chemistry lesson.
Task 2:
Use the internet or your GCSE notes to recall the names of the first 10 alkanes in order of their size (ie. Methane, ethane etc). You should then use
this list and the following information to draw a variety of organic compounds in DISPLAYED and STRUCTURAL formulae as well as NAME them.
