What are my responsibilities? Our graduate engineer programme offers an unsurpassed opportunity to achieve true hands-on experience in an exciting and challenging global services environment. During this up to two-year development programme, individuals will undertake placements in a variety of Engineering for Services departments including Equipment Health Monitoring, Maintenance and Overhaul Engineering, Control Systems and Service Engineering. Experience of other non-engineering sectors such as New Unit Sales and our worldwide organisation will also be offered to broaden the exposure of the individual to the true nature of the business. As you take part in the Siemens UK Graduate Programme, you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your skills through training modules including Project Management, Career Management and Presentation Skills whilst being provided with full mentoring support tailored to your specific needs. At the completion of the development programme, it is expected that you will progress into a highly responsible service engineering role with an emphasis being placed on introduction into our expanding component repair capabilities. What do I need to qualify for this job? You will have achieved (or be working towards) a 2:2 or above Degree in an Engineering discipline. You will have the ability to understand and rapidly adapt to our established processes. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be an excellent team player with the ability to work independently. An understanding of the principals of gas turbine operation would be advantageous. What else do I need to know?
