Siemens Smart Grid is a specialized department within Siemens group in the field of electrical transport, which covers
the following range of products, systems and services in that industry: Automation and electrical supply; Turn-key
systems; Rolling stock; Complex services
Now the Smart Grid team is looking to hire: Sales Engineer Railway Infrastructure with following
responsibilities:

Responsibility for sales volume, sales results and market share for assigned products, systems and
services;
Visiting of current and potential customers for maintaining and initiating business relations; attracting new
clients; Development and improvement of existing business relationships with key clients
Organizing the whole process and preparation of bid documentation according to participation in various
bid procedures
Development of tender documentation in accordance with the specific technical requirements of the project
Collecting information concerning market, competitors and clients; regular updating of databases;
Continuous monitoring and analyzing the marketing conditions.
Coordinating the process of communication with company’s clients; share information about the current
status on weekly bases.
Provision of technical support of the partners and development of strategies for implementation of
company’s products
Drafting offers and contracts with customers according to the specific company requirements and order and
controlling performance under contract’s terms
Reports to the RC Division Sales Manager
Education - Qualifications - Work Experience
- Technical degree preferably in the field of Electrical Engineering;
- Excellent English skills both spoken and written, good knowledge of German will be considered as serious
advantage
- Basic knowledge of order and application conditions of Public Procurement Act
- Understanding of technical/ commercial customer requirements and trends;
- Acquisition and Sales systematics and techniques;
- Basic knowledge in Project and Quality Management;
- Microsoft Office Tools
