Job ID: 222930 222930 Supply Chain Management Apprentice Siemens | Congleton As a Siemens Motion Control Apprenticeship in Supply Chain Management/Logistics, you will attend our bespoke programme at college or using online training programmes where certain key/functional skills are also completed. It can take up to 4 years to be fully qualified. Firstly, you will be placed with the workplace undertaking Logistics tasks whilst working towards the first NVQ level and gain additional wider key/functional skills. After this, you will work towards additional NVQ levels which may result in a diploma or professional qualification at the end of the apprenticeship, during which time you will receive training and practical experience – this will help you understand our methods, resources and procedures. What do I need to qualify for the job? The Supply Chain area, also known as Logistics, covers Planning, Order Management, Material Control, Material As well as learning the day to day business, Siemens also promotes the participation in the Corporate Social Handling (stores & line feed) and Inventory Control. During the 4 year training period you will undertake tasks in these Responsibility progam, here employees will volunteer in a wealth of activities, fairs & educational events. For our different areas to obtain a working understanding of how the areas collaborate. The tasks will require written & Strategic goals there will be the opportunity to learn about our Virtual Reality Cave, Robotics for manufacturing & verbal communication with external suppliers & internal departments and the use of SAP & Microsoft Office ongoing improvements as we strive to maintain our World Class Manufacturing Plant. Computer literacy Attention to detail Ability to organize & manage your time Capability to solve problems Demonstrate team working Ability to communicate effectively Qualifications Required GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above which must include Maths, English Language and Science or Engineering.
