Youth Ensemble Costume Details
2015
The company will provide most costume pieces; dancers are responsible for the following items:
ALL dancers
□ Black leotard (no sleeves)
□ Black fishnet tights
□ Skin tone Shimmer tights (CAPEZIO GIRLS FOOTED ULTRA SHIMMERY DANCE TIGHT Style
No: 1808C)
March of the Toy Soldiers – Brooke, Emily H., Emily S., Alyssa, Tyana, Sophia
□ Black leotard (no sleeves, basic scoopneck – the leotard WILL be visible under blazers)
□ Black dance tights
NOTE: Dancers who wish to wear a bra for additional modesty and/or support should get
something seamless, without underwire that will not be visible under their costumes. (No
racerback as the straps would likely be visible!) This may apply especially to dancers who are NOT
in March of the Toy Soldiers as the red leotards they are wearing for the finale do not all have built
in shelf bras. They may wear a nude or black leotard underneath this costume if they wish.
Hair should be half up and neatly styled (straight or curled is fine)
Makeup should include eye shadow (browns, greys, pinks), eyeliner, mascara, blush, and red
lipstick
Tap shoes must be solid black, no split soles. Please include your child’s name somewhere on/in
the shoe that is not visible to the audience and check that your shoes laces are in good condition.
Please also bring an extra pair of laces just in case!
