Costume:
Balances should all be paid before you receive your costume.
Your classes costume balance is $0 – your tights are included with
your costume cost. If you would like more
than one pair you must place an order for them. If you have not paid this balance please do so immediately.
Shoes: Please check all shoes to be sure they still fit. The last day to order shoes is April 23 rd.
Tights: Order forms available at the wellness center. Due April 23rd
T-shirts: Orders due by April 30th (Design available soon) $7
Pictures: May 7th @ 5:30 in Costume (Hair however you would like)

The side door will open at 6pm for the dancers. The front doors will open at 6:30 for everyone else.
May 16th show starts @1:30pm arrive by 1pm

General Information
 Dress rehearsal is MANDATORY. Without dress rehearsal the dancers do not know where to go when














they arrive, what the layout is, their positioning on stage, how the recital will run, ect. It is their only
chance to rehearse on stage prior to the recital. Some adjustments are often made at dress rehearsal.
For pictures and dress rehearsal arrive a few minutes early. Arrive with your hair and makeup done.
And in your first costume. Everyone should arrive in Ballet costumes for the rehearsal, see picture
schedule for which costume to arrive in.
Turn all electronic devices off. They are very distracting to the dancers.
No flash photography while the dancers are dancing. This is distracting and blinding for the dancers.
Be sure you label ALL of your belongings(shoes, water bottle, costume, etc)
At dress rehearsal you may watch. However please keep movement and volume done so you don’t
distract those rehearsing.
All the dancers in the class should look the same. If you are unable to get the hair or makeup done they
way it is need ask others in your class for help.
If you have a special needs person in your party for the recital let your teacher know by Dress
Rehearsal.
Recital is general seating. Please refrain from saving seats before the door is open. You are on your
honor here. If you do save seats don’t be surprised if what you placed there goes missing (we won’t
steal anything but it will be placed in the sound booth for you to pick up)
NO FOOD OR DRINK beyond the hallway.
We are still in need of volunteers. Please check the list on the bulletin board.

For the recital the dancers should enter through the stage left outside entrance. DO NOT go through
the main hallway or auditorium.
For rehearsal please enter through the front doors.
All dancers should arrive 30min prior to the start of the recital.
Bits and Pieces
No fingernail polish
No underwear
No tattoos
Be sure that all of your belongings are labeled. Everything looks the same at recital.
No jewelry
Be sure that your dancer looks like everyone else in her class. No extra embellishments.
Only water should be sent for your dancer to drink.
No food is allowed backstage.
Arrive early for rehearsal and pictures. Arrive in costume with hair and makeup done.
Makeup should be on heavy, the bright lights of the stage wash out a dancers face if the makeup is to light.
