Dear Parents and Carers,
This year’s Nativity performance will take place on Friday
11th December 2015 at 2pm in St
Albans Church.
Costumes
We thought it would easier this year if we sorted the costumes at school, rather than send them home, but would
ask you please to provide the following;
Narrators
Boys: white school shirt, school trousers, tinsel tie (any colour) and school shoes
Girls: white blouse, school shoes, tinsel or tiara for their head and any coloured tights
Angels, Star, Sheep and Dove
All:
white tights (preferably thick ones), white vest/white short sleeved t-shirt
All other characters
All:
dark tights (navy, black, dark green, grey) and a dark short sleeved t-shirt/vest
We have decided the children do not need to wear plimsolls or trainers during the performance as they will be
walking on carpet. They will walk up to church in their school shoes and will take these off before the performance
starts.
Photography and Videos
Please don’t take photographs or videos at the church as this will distract the children and detract from everyone’s
enjoyment of the performance. We will do photos at the end of the performance before we take the children back
to school.
Younger Children
If you bring younger children to the church, please be considerate of the performers who have small voices and
could easily be distracted if there is noise from the audience.
