Position Responsibilities Research & Heritage Provide strategic, organisational and professional anthropological advice to the Director of Research and Heritage on research, approaches, progress and issues. Perform anthropological research for specific native title claim/s. Provide leadership on and strategic input into regional and individual claims management. Maintain effective relationships with internal staff and key external stakeholders. Project Management Preparation and assessment of native title connection research material as required. Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously in accordance with agreed budgets and timeframes. Provide accurate and timely reports as directed. Peer review draft connection reports. Effective liaison with relevant parties to achieve organisational objectives. Leadership and Management Provide leadership, guidance and professional advice and support to Research staff. Supervise and professionally develop Research staff. Provide leadership and manage Anthropologists on regional research work plans. Ensuring effective anthropological input to concurrent YMAC processes. Contribute to building organisational capability.
