We have recently integrated them under one management team and P&L, and are making major new investments in them. Informa BI is investing $50+MM in its businesses over three years, and the Pharma and Healthcare business is getting a significant portion of that investment.

We need experienced IT/Operations analysts to work on the Pharma Insight publications, including Scrip Intelligence,
The Pink Sheet, The Gray Sheet, IN VIVO and others, as we prioritize significant investments we are making in these products.
Reporting into the Technology Operations Manager for Pharma Insight Products, the IT Business Systems/Operations
Analyst will help the business meet its objectives and goals. He or she will understand how work is being conducted, and through analysis, determine solutions to the issues. The solution could include business process or rule changes, technology changes, or a combination of both. You will provide front line Technical support for Editorial staff for a large digital publishing company and have advanced Excel skills to support ad-hoc reporting requests that support sales staff.
The IT Business Systems/Operations Analyst will primarily support our editorial content management system (Sitecore) and integrated systems (Salesforce, ExactTarget, Multimedia tools) as well as provide analytics usage data to our commercial teams and customers. In addition, he or she will be involved in User Acceptance/Core Functionality Testing of our various platforms as a part of our development, maintenance and support cycles.
Working knowledge of MS-Office, specifically Excel/Access and developing macros for reporting requests
Experience in electronic publishing support a plus; ideally with prior experience managing product development and/or content teams using with web-based content delivery systems.
Experience working with Analytic data and providing reporting
Experience with XML for our automated Newsfeeds.
Experience with HTML.
Understanding of Data Structures (relational data models), Analytics, Optimizely, Chartbeat, and additional multimedia tools (Data Visualization Tools/Soundcloud/Youtube) that support the editorial staff.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style when interacting with internal and external customers, team members, peers and management
Strong analytical skills, balancing technical and commercial perspectives to assist in creating business cases and following through to creation of growing profitable, market-leading products
The ability to understand the business needs of customers and apply them when proposing information or
solutions to those needs
The attention to detail and ability to define priorities and acceptance criteria
Familiarity with various software development methodologies and knowledge of the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience using various modelling tools, techniques and notations including Use Cases, Activity Diagrams,
Business Process Modelling Notation, and Workflows.
Flexible Schedule. May require off hours support as required.
Provide tier 1 level support to our worldwide editorial team for our content management system and the systems that connect with it.
Support testing and QA processes; ensure coverage and completeness of test cases and alignment with customer requirements and specifications.
Write and review unambiguous technical specifications to a testable level; verify with use cases and user scenarios
Model processes using various notation (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Business Process Modelling Notation,
Workflows, Swimlanes)
Review and analyze business processes, rules and procedures, recommend improvements and establish new ones as needed.
Work with the technical and development teams to establish operational standards and best practices.
Develop training programs and materials; create and maintain guides and document repositories.
Maintain appropriate knowledge on various business units and develop professional relationships with internal staff, vendors, and clients.
