1. Submit a 350-400 word essay that includes the following information (use 1 inch margins, double spacing, and 12
point Calibri font.):
 Why should you be selected as a Gamecock Orientation Leader?
 What strengths do you have that you could bring to the team?
 What can you do as a student leader that would help a student with the transition from high school to
college?
2. Submit two letters of recommendation from JSU full-time faculty or staff (student workers and graduate assistants
are not full time employees). These letters must be received by October 9, 2015 in a sealed envelope.
