Application Guidelines: Artists’ Filmmaking Workshop Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard The artists’ filmmaking workshop takes place at the offices of the London Film School, Long Acre, London WC2E 9LA from Monday, 1st September – Friday,12th September. Applicants must be available to attend all ten weekdays of the workshop, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm. Optional activities will be arranged for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September. The workshop is £450 per participant in addition to any and all personal travel, accommodation and incidental expenses. Two part-subsidised and two fully subsidised places will be offered to applicants on the basis of need. The programme will include a number of evening events. Details of the events will be made available to the participants as/when they are confirmed. The participants will be invited to attend the events free of charge. Applicants should have an interest in and/or experience as a filmmaker or as an artist working in the moving image. Participants will be expected to contribute their knowledge and skills to the workshop process. Applicants must be 18+ years of age. The copyright of any work produced at the workshop will rest with the London Film School. Please note: it is a pre-requisite of attendance at the workshop that applicants enter into an agreement assigning all rights in the material produced by them during the workshop to the London Film School.
