commemorated in the order by a special office on 12 December, and that of his translation by
another on 25 May. His feast is kept throughout the Church on 4 October, and the impression
of the stigmata on his body is celebrated on 17 September.
SECULAR FRANCISCAN BAKE SALE – SUNDAY JUNE 8TH after the 10:30
Mass. We are making an appeal to the kindness of our parishioners to aid us by
contributing whatever baked goods you can, either before the Saturday or Sunday
Mass (June 7/8). The more successful the Bake Sale, the more we can help those in
need. Thank you so much.
WE PRAY FOR THE DEAD AND THOSE WHO MOURN THEM :
OLPH FOOD PANTRY – THANK YOU! Your continued response to the Food
Pantry Weekend is much needed and appreciated along with the weekly food
contributions. With the economic problems upon us, there is an increased demand
on our emergency supplies. So thank you so much for all your donations &
especially for your caring attention to this ongoing cause. Recently our supplies are
very low and we sorely need coffee, tea, cereals, peanut butter, spaghetti sauces,
school snacks, Kraft dinners and shelf milk. The next Food Pantry Weekend Blitz
will be May 31/June 1.
OUR PASTORAL HOME CARE GROUP now meets once a month. If you
would like to join the group or if you know someone who is confined to their home,
a residence or hospital, and would like a visit from one of the members of the group,

and at the same time to lead every Catholic parishioner to deeper belief and renewal
of his or her Christian faith. For more information please call the parish office.

O.L.P.H. MEMORIAL/BEQUEST FUND – O.L.P.H., like all churches, counts on support
from its parishioners and friends to continue its mission of evangelization. Our parish has
established a Memorial/Bequest Fund and would like to encourage parishioners and friends to
consider this fund when preparing their wills or to remember a loved one or friend when they
pass away. We offer you this unique opportunity in helping to do the Lord’s work at OLPH for
future generations. For more information on this subject, please contact:
