Preparing
for Class
• Report to class on time
– In the room BEFORE the bell chimes
– Bring a notebook, textbook, pen/pencil
– Be seated in your ASSIGNED seat
• Have a WRITTEN PASS if you are late, or
leaving to go somewhere during class
• Put any homework in THE BOX (my desk)
During Classroom
Activities…
• Only one person speaks at a time
• Pay attention to the matter at hand
• If you have a question…..
– RAISE YOUR HAND & be patient
– Please do not interrupt the speaker
– I will call on you; it may take a few seconds
• Listen to any other student questions
Assignments
& Grading
• Due date is written on each assignment
• 10 points deducted for each day late
• A score of ZERO after 5 days late
NOTE: Please refer to guidebook policies
for excused absences & late assignments.
Discipline
Policy
• Disciplinary action will be discussed
AFTER class, not DURING class.
• If you’re asked to stay after class, don’t
leave the room (assignment doubled !)
