TODAY’S OBJECTIVES:
Students will examine how the author’s purpose affects
his/her use of language and choice of form.
AGENDA:
1. Complete grammar warmup #25. Turn in warmups
21-25.
2. Watch PBS Documentary Bloods in ‘Nam. What rhetorical
devices (ethos, pathos, logos) does the director use to make
his story compelling?
3. Analyze packet about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
(PTSD). What did you learn from reading this packet?
4. Through film clips, analyze another aspect of war:
coming home (“PTSD”) and its psychological effects
on the soldier and the people around them.
