TODAY’S OBJECTIVES:
Students will examine how the author’s purpose
affects his/her use of language and choice of form
(MCPS 3.4.2)
AGENDA:
1. Turn in final material objects essay.
2. Complete warmup #10 on the following Buddhist
saying: “Wear life like a loose garment.” What does
that quote mean? Turn in warmups 6-10.
3. Continue the documentary Supersize Me by Morgan
Spurlock. Note the examples that the director uses to
support his argument. Compile as many examples of
ethos, pathos and logos on graphic organizer and turn
in at conclusion of film.
