Whereas, the Student Government Association aims to support the student
organizations of Ithaca College,
Whereas, the main source of support that SGA provides to student
organizations is through financial assistance via funds from the Student
Activities Fund,
Whereas, the Student Activities Fund, in its current state, contains $11,841,
Whereas, the SGA Executive Board budget, in its current state, contains $9,784,
Whereas, the SGA Executive Board anticipates utilizing $2,500 by the end of
the fiscal year,
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association provide to the Student
Activities Fund financial assistance in the sum of $7,000.
Be it further resolved that this financial assistance is transferred directly from
the SGA Executive Board’s organizational account, into the organizational
account of the Student Activities Fund to be allocated by the Appropriations
Committee.
