Discussion

SAOs: We’re back on accreditation warning. Basically it is a warning around what we are doing with student learning outcomes. In our area we are calling them SAOs (Service Area Outcomes). Our measurement will be service area outcomes. These three questions will give you a sense of what the college is looking for: 1) Describe how program personnel are engaged in the creation, discussion and review of SAO statements assessed end results and reports. 2) How does the program ensure that

SAOs are assessed consistently? 3) Has the SAO assessment results indicated the need to change or modify components of the program, if so, were the changes implemented?

Adjournment at 2:30 pm
