Retail or distribution environment refers to workplaces where the primary focus is on customers purchasing goods and/or services. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 This unit standard is expiring Evidence requirements Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining stock control data in a retail or distribution environment. 1.1 Sources of information for maintaining stock control data are identified. Range 1.2 Organisational procedures for maintaining stock control data are described. Range 1.3 may include but are not limited to – suppliers, catalogues, orders, invoices, packing slips, stocktakes, reports, packaging. access, security, frequency, entering data, deleting data, changing data, confirming data, generating reports. Stock control data is identified for specified stock lines. Range ServiceIQ SSB Code 9068 evidence is required for three stock lines. Evidence requirements 2.1 Information used to maintain stock control data is accurate, current, and complete. 2.2 Stock control data is maintained in accordance with organisational procedures. Range 2.3 access, security, entering data, deleting data, changing data, confirming data, generating reports. Documentation related to maintaining stock control is accurate, complete, and filed in accordance with organisational procedures.
