Organisational procedures refer to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are formally documented, or generally accepted within the workplace. Retail or distribution environment refers to workplaces where the primary focus is on customers purchasing goods and/or services. Evidence requirements 1.1 Stock levels are established and agreed with stakeholders in accordance with organisational procedures. Range 1.2 stakeholders may include but are not limited to – owner/operator, staff, distributors, outlet management, suppliers. Factors affecting stock requirements are identified and incorporated into establishment of stock levels in accordance with organisational procedures. Outcome 2 Maintain stock levels in a retail or distribution environment. Evidence requirements 2.1 Stock levels are maintained in accordance with organisational procedures. 2.2 Factors affecting stock level maintenance are identified, and action is taken to maintain levels in accordance with organisational procedures. Range 2.3 factors may include but are not limited to – change in lead times, change in demand, supply delays, stock discontinued; evidence is required for three factors; action may include but is not limited to – use alternative supplier, inform stakeholders, amend stock levels; evidence is required for two actions.
