The following unit standard may be considered relevant to and/or supportive of this
unit standard, but is not a prerequisite unit standard: Unit 11964, Deliver and install
retail goods in customer premises.

Definitions
Agreed indicates a course of action that is agreed between two or more people
(including the candidate) and which follows organisational procedures.
Organisational procedures refer to instructions to staff on policy and procedures
which are formally documented, or generally accepted within the workplace.

1.1
Delivery plan minimises distance travelled and meets customer timeframes.
Range
timeframes - deadlines, access to customer premises.

Planned load meets regulatory requirements for type and capacity of vehicle.
1.3
Load is secure and is packed for delivery sequence.

Documentation required for delivery of goods is available in vehicle.
Outcome 2
Ensure safe delivery of goods to customers.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Goods are delivered to customer in accordance with delivery schedule and
within agreed timeframe.
2.2
Storage requirements for goods are met during loading, transit and unloading.
Range
storage requirements include but are not limited to - temperature,
light, fragility, security.
2.3
Damaged items are identified, recorded, and returned in accordance with
organisational procedures.
2.4
Verification of customer receipt of goods is obtained in accordance with
organisational procedures.
