Organisational procedures refer to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are formally documented, or generally accepted within the workplace. This unit standard is expiring Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Prepare to deliver goods to customers. Evidence requirements 1.1 Delivery plan minimises distance travelled and meets customer timeframes. Range timeframes - deadlines, access to customer premises. 1.2 Planned load meets regulatory requirements for type and capacity of vehicle. 1.3 Load is secure and is packed for delivery sequence. Outcome 2 Ensure safe delivery of goods to customers. Evidence requirements 2.1 Goods are delivered to customer in accordance with delivery schedule and within agreed timeframe. 2.2 Storage requirements for goods are met during loading, transit and unloading. Range storage requirements include but are not limited to - temperature, light, fragility, security. 2.3 Damaged items are identified, recorded, and returned in accordance with organisational procedures. 2.4 Verification of customer receipt of goods is obtained in accordance with organisational procedures.
