This unit standard is for people in the signmaking industry who
may have to either deliver or arrange delivery of a sign.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare a
sign for delivery; oversee delivery of a sign; and complete
documentation.

Site access is arranged in advance in accordance with specifications and
instructions received.

2.2
Availability of unloading equipment is arranged prior to delivery.
2.3
Permits and clearances for delivery are obtained prior to delivery.
2.4
Delivery is arranged to job schedule and client instructions.
2.5
Sign is delivered and unloaded to client satisfaction.
2.6
Visual inspection of delivered sign is completed and any damage noted and
reported according to company policy.

Complete documentation.

All delivery documentation is completed legibly.
3.2
Documentation is processed according to internal system in place.

Industry Training Organisations must be granted consent to assess against standards by
NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
