Proposal
Two people have volunteered as readers after Fridays Professional
Development day – Rose Hughes and Vasantha Harinath.
Lynn presented the Valuing People proposal that she, with Mike Allen’s
help, developed. The proposal addresses AQIP Category 4, Valuing
People, an area needing improvement at the College. The Committee
discussed the proposal.
 The Committee endorsed the proposal and agreed to send it on to
the President for his support.
 The Committee selected 4 areas of focus for 07/08: Project
Planning/Partnerships ($500 budget request for catering); Adjunct
Faculty Training (working with Stephanie K.’s adjunct group);
Division Pilot Small Projects ($1000 per division budget request
to support projects); and Personal Professional Development Plan
(as part of Performance Evaluation System).
 Lynn agreeed to re-write the proposal with the priorities, send it
out by Monday. Kate will forward it to Dr. Abrams.
