News from Room 30:
3rd Grade
This week we begin Unit 6 which focuses on strategies for division, applying it through solving number
stories. The partial quotient algorithm is introduced with expected mastery. Also, this unit provides
practice in measuring and classifying angles. Continue to practice those multiplication facts on
MobyMax!
4th Grade
We just began Unit 8 which focuses on fractions and ratios. Specifically, students will be using equivalent
names for fractions and introducing algorithms for multiplying fractions and mixed numbers.
Dynamath is due Monday!
5th Grade
Number Systems and Algebra Systems, Unit 6, will conclude at the end of next
week/beginning of the following week.
Math Magazine is due Monday!
