Try to discuss the different uses of water in a normal city
household. Try to think of other uses than those we already
discussed.
Divide an A4 paper in 4 quarters. Discuss the principle of
fractions. First fold the paper in halve, then quarters. Use
other examples of fractions. The learners can each then draw
four pictures of any water use in their households.
Let the learners try to fold fractions with other shapes, such
as circles, triangles, rectangles and squares etc. Teach them
the different names of the different fractions, such as Halves,
quarters, thirds, etc.
