Important Reminders –
Early release on Monday, November 23rd
Conferences will continue on Monday, November 23rd.
No School November 25-27th
Social Studies test on December 2nd.
Math test on December 4th
Literacy/Reading – The next two weeks will be spent determining the writer’s
purpose for writing a text. The kids will learn how to uncover key pieces of information
the author presents to help them discover the author’s purpose.
Math – The students will take the module 4 assessment Friday, November 4th. The
assessment will cover addition of fractions and mixed numbers, simplifying fractions,
and word problems with fractions and mixed numbers.
Science – After Thanksgiving, we will return to learning about food chains, food webs
and deep sea vents.
Social Studies – We will finish chapter ten next week and take an assessment on
December 2nd. A study guide will be coming home soon.
